Jean would like world peace and an end to poverty and suffering. But if she can’t have that, how about a whole drawer full of new socks? Nice socks, Santa.

I want Jean to finally get her new socks. cuz she never asks for anything…and for her to stop harassing me every 5 minutes whether I posted this or not. So, what do I really want?
- I want our IT department to get me a new laptop so I can stop using this programmable plastic paperweight.
- I want the summer back. The swimming, fishing and general ability to walk outside without having to put on nine hats, three coats and 2 layers of long johns.
- I also want CC Sabathia to sign a 4 year deal with the Red Sox.
- Oh! And how could I forget? I want another great year of happiness with Christie and my family. Her presence is the best present I could ever get.
- What? I really have to write something materialistic and personal? Ok…I want the Sopranos full episode box set. I believe I’m the last person who’s never seen even one episode.
PS- I saw an awful pair of blue socks on Jeannie at a Frazier’s remote about 10 years ago. It was 20 degrees out and we all became horrified to learn that she really wasn’t wearing any.

- Ditto to Hamel’s wish for Summer. Im tired of Winter weather already. Wish I could let my 3 year old outside to burn off all her extra energy rather than her run a muck through our house!
- I wish for Financial freedom.
-I wish for a Holiday where we can afford to participate in it.

I’m all for Jean’s socks, too. I would also like a cure for schizophrenia, so my daughter can get her life back. And, I’d like a crack at Who Wants To Be a Millionaire before senile dementia takes the precious few remaining brain cells that survived the ’70s. Oh, and world peace and a rebound in the U.S. economy — soon! There, that’s not too much, is it? Thanks. Rock on, Santa. (See, Jean, I told you I would wait until after 5 pm and then blog.)
